
This December, The Point is cooking up something extra tasty. A classic hit with a Point twist: our very own listener-powered cookbook!! Jay and Chuck are total food nerds, always bragging about what’s sizzling in their kitchens, and our listeners can’t resist calling in to weigh in on the yum factor. Eventually we realized we could not in good conscience keep all this delicious chaos to ourselves. Drum roll please.... “Stuck in the Griddle with You.” (Go on, admit it, you just sang that in your head when you read it.)
From December 1st–22nd, KWPT will be collecting your most drool-worthy recipes. We want your favorite winter and holiday comfort food recipes. We will use our self-declared recipe judging prowess (a very scientific method of asking the staff what they like) to pick our favorite recipes in these four categories: Entrees, desserts, soups, and beverages. The top recipe in each wins a prize!
We could not stop there, could we?. If you know us, you know we like to go big! So....come February, we’ll unveil the finished cookbook to the world! Folks can buy a digital or a limited hard copy of the "Stuck in the Griddle With You Cookbook". Every dollar of profit will go to support the beloved Humboldt Paws Cause. Word on the street is that the hard copies might even come with a little edible bonus.....
