I went to S.F. for a few days and found out first hand what it's like to be away from my favorite radio. There were at least 30 different stations to choose from at any given time, but they all sucked! No pizzaz! No oomph! No REAL PEOPLE! I just put in a CD and listened to it the entire time. I just happened to choose "Livin' in the 90's" and by the time I drove back home into the redwoods, I had heard Vanilla Ice seven times. I never thought I'd be glad to hear Janice Joplin and The Talking Heads, but I WAS! Thanks for still being here and still Rockin' the Redwoods!!!

Thanks so much for your great selection of music. We just moved and haven't hookup the cable yet, so we found you on the dial. I like the radio again. Long live rock and roll.

Thanks to everyone from The Point who helped make the Kinetic Grand Championships so very fun. We had a glorious time cheering on the racers while listening to 100.3. We had great rock blasting from three different radios that day. In person, and on air, you guys truly are exceptional. And what GLORIOUS hats!

We just spent a glorious week in Trinidad. Normally we would listen to our satelite radio but we decided to turn your station on to get a taste of the local flavor and we never turned it off! Thank you so much; keep up the fantastic work, and PLEASE come to the Reno/Sparks area and teach the radio stations how it should really work!
Thanks again,
Mike and Jamie

I'm diggin' on what Jesse said. Even though I can't say it with such big words... I, too would enjoy a good hour (or more) of great metal. Or even just a few hours of songs/artists that have been deemed too loud, too fast, too punk, too this, too that, for normal rotation. It's understandable that you can't possibly play every song that people want to hear. But it would be nice to hear some Ramones every now and again. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go and research songs for the Top Ten @ Ten. The Loleta List Lady will strike again!

Am a newcomer to Humboldt, from Portland, Or. Home radio station is KGON, Classic Rock. LOVE it and my daughter who is KGON-insider. I'm loving your radio station, too. Impressed! Some interesting differences. Thank you for being there! Rose.

Hellllllooooo Point
I love the station, i cant not love the station. Great variety, great DJ's and commercial breaks that don't suck the soul from your body rendering you a lifeless husk of once was an individual who knew how to ROCK!
One thing only... Can we get like a 1 hour segment a week dedicated to the glory and essence of all that is the ultimate in BAD BAD ROCK. And by BAD I mean AWESOME. I'm talkin ACDC, DIO, IRON MAIDEN, SABBATH, CINDERELLA, etc. Preferably on a night when my friends and all are all drunk (friday) and the energy is high. I can personally guarantee an hour of this would send the point into the throes of the deepest most turbulent alternate planar existence and it would come back with a steely eyed wisdom and understanding of the workings of the universe thereby eternally locking its revered status into the epic, greatest and deepest hallowed halls of THE RADIO STATIONS OF TIME as reward for being the vanguard of ROCK. And even if that doesn't happen maybe the ratings will go up a percentage point or so.

Honestly, the only reason I get up in the morning is to hear the greatness that is The Point. Friends and family are a good side effect I have in my life, but only because I live and breath for the Point. More people need to listen, and give their feedback here so that everyone everywhere can know just how magnanimous the Point is. Rock On KWPT!!! (makes the overused rock n roll devil horns with her hands)

My family had a chance to listen to the football game Fortuna vs Del Norte tonight! WOW! What an experience!! My nephew is Jason Johnson the Quarterback for Fortuna! You guys did such a great job as commentators! We felt like we were there! Only bad thing is that Jase had a sucky game and we think he broke his ankle. Anyway, please keep the webcast going so as to keep long distance family feeling like they are there. Great concept and GOOD JOB!
